What’s involved in a Legionella Risk Assessment?

Typically we will be checking:

The hot and cold water systems,

Checking that storage tanks are sealed and free from contamination,

Monitoring the temperature of hot and cold water supplies to ensure they are within safe limits

Checking for redundant pipe work

Checking the condition of shower heads and taps

The report will advise on areas that may represent a risk and require attention together with advice for properties left vacant for any long periods
