Since October 2008 it has been a legal requirement for all rental properties to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
This must be available for all prospective tenants to view before they choose to rent your property.
The Government has indicated the life of an EPC will be 10 years, unless there are significant changes to the property which will require a re-inspection
